P3-4 English Hall Games

P3-4 English Hall Games

In Term 2, the P3 and P4 students were invited to play lunchtime games with the foreign English teachers. There were three games to play, which are popular party games in Western countries.

The first is called “Egg and Spoon Race,” where children need to run over and between obstacles while balancing a boiled egg on a spoon. At the end of the obstacles they needed to answer an English question and return back to their team. By the end of the game there were many smashed eggs on the floor and children giggling with laughter!

The second game was “Sentence Racing,” where the children listened to an English sentence and then had to find the correct words and display them, by looking in a large box containing many different cut up words. Great teamwork was shown during this game!

Lastly, was the “Sack Race,” where children had to read the English question and had to race to the correct answer. But they couldn’t race using their feet…they had to jump while standing in a rice sack. There were children slipping and sliding everywhere!

Overall, the children had a great time playing and interacting in the Western games and had fun using English!
